Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger released on 25th August amidst massive hype and great occupancies all over. The film, however, met with poor reviews and below-par word of mouth. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, Liger is a pan-India project produced by Puri himself along with Karan Johar. Liger 1st Day was quite eventful and saw huge celebrations by fans.
The Telugu version pre-release business is valued at Rs 70Cr the film has collected in the range of Rs 13 Cr – Rs 14Cr. On Day 2, the bookings look very poor. Liger is now heading towards Rs 50Cr+ loss, 1st non-star film to lose Rs 50Cr+ theatrically.
The sports action drama also stars Ananya Pandey and Ramya Krishnan in key roles. Karan Johar and Puri are jointly producing the film. This much anticipated pan-India project was released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi as well as in Malayalam.Â
Meanwhile, Liger OTT premiere details are out. This pan- India project directed by Puri Jagannadh will make its way to OTT on Disney + Hotstar. While the date of OTT premiere is not out yet, it will be revealed soon basis the film’s box-office performance.
